The host was very friendly and welcomming. The room is spacious and the bed was really comfortable. There is a fridge in the room... also tea and coffee. The bathroom is nice with a massive shower. Everything was nice and clean. Location is within walking distance of restaurants and coffee shops. There is parking for your vehicle.
The quietness and the room was bigger than my expectations.
De Rust has authentic old houses lining the main street throughout town. Mountains as backdrop complete the picture. The reception at Irissa Sanctuary was warm. I felt right at home. Karen is an excellent host! Make sure you have enough time to enjoy the unreal Meyerspoort.
The owner was very friendly and we were able to share personal ideas about life that surround us in our country. Good place of retreat.
No breakfast but that was not included. The atmosphere and ambience was magic
The room@Irissa Sanctuary was a haven of peace and quiet after a long trip. Karen is such a welcoming host. Everything was fine. I will stay there again.
Karen made me feel very welcome. The room was comfortable with good quality linen. I'll definitely stay here again.
Karen is a very friendly, gracious host. I locked my car keys in the boot, and she sorted me out in finding a locksmith to help me from 50 kms away in Oudsthorn! Lovely mellow pets there, too! Nice, hot shower!
Very clean Very quiey Very nice fan Very spacious Had all I needed
Firstly, the house smells wonderful! I believe it is the base for host Karen's Reiki practice, so the whole place has a very restful feel to it and there is also a lot of artwork. The room was great; there was coffee and tea provided but also the use of the fridge and kitchen; the mosquitoes were a problem, but Karen supplied pretty much everything under the sun to combat them (fan, mozzie net, anti-mozzie plug). Big comfy bathroom; pretty back yard. De Rust is a small but lovely place - Karen readily gave us dinner recommendations (thankfully, because options were limited - but Cafe Rust, which we went to, was perfect).
